It's another day in the Ryan household, and we are still getting things setup the way they need to be. I successfully have persuaded Megan to give up the living room to me, since she has every other room. WOOT! I finished hooking up half the speaker system and it looks better than expected.
On a different note, I ordered the webcam that I wanted. It will definitely be good to get in touch with friends and family back in VA. The webcam I got was the Logitech Quickcam Communicate MP. It looks pretty good and will be nice to have. I'll have a better review when it comes in in a few days.
I have been offered to take up a congregation preaching there full time. There are some pros and cons to this. The cons are that I would not be visiting other congregations and meeting other brothers and sisters and it would be a pretty heavy work load having to make new sermons every week.. The pros though are that it is only 25 minutes away, the fact that the sermons I get done now will give me two full years of preaching material, and this would also look good on a resume. Even more important though, is that the brothers and sisters there seem to want to grow and I believe that I would be a pretty good fit. I am going to pray on this, but it is looking like I will take on this work.
